(I admit) I'm looking at a personal phobia in this photo. And yet, I find these creatures incredibly fascinating and really beautiful in their own right. They're like little jewels with a high dose of creepy which makes me feel a real fascination, awe, and respect for them. These scarabs carry an ancient history that sees them as sacred little treasures.
